Nothing changed on our side between yesterday and today. The difference is the browser: yesterday you played on an up-to-date Chrome, and today on a much older one (Chrome 109). On your PC that old version runs without graphics acceleration, and that triggers a quick security check on every fleet send. The check is slow on that setup, which is where the 20 seconds to 2 minutes comes from. It isn't a penalty and it has nothing to do with your account.
The easiest fix is to keep playing on the browser you used yesterday, or on Firefox. Both work normally and you won't see the check there. If you need to stay on that Chrome, make sure "Use graphics acceleration when available" is on under Settings > System, but on an older Windows version that may not be enough.
If you still see the check on the other browsers, just let us know and we'll look into it. Have fun!
